| I recently ordered one of Mike's (collegeboy) real brushed alluminum bezels he had for sale. I ended up sandblasting it, just as I had done earlier with the gauge rings. Here is the end result: 


Obligatory money shot, and FYI, $20CAD = ~$17USD, so we can't make fun of the canucks like we used too =( I've also changed the stock bulbs to some red one's, a lot nicer look overall then my old reverse indiglo gauges with faux carbon fiber sticker bezel. *Now for the question. Some people I have talked to have said to clearcoat the sandblasted pieces to prevent it from discoloring in the future. I was going to attach the plastic cover and leave it as is. Will the sandblasted alluminum pieces discolor over time, or will I be fine leaving it uncoated since it won't be in a highly exposed area.
